Ode to Mr. Quintin

Mr. Quintin, our curriculum coordinator, has written hundreds of poems over the years. For each graduate--on his/her graduation day--Mr. Q recites a personally written poem at rollcall for the new grad, in celebration of that special day.

This year, our senior class decided to turn the tables and write HIM one!

Mr. Quintin, Quinni, and Percy too
Who would have thought that nine girls would adore you

We've really come a long way
Since you met us our first day

With your dabbling in color
You are like no other

From dark to light
You've helped transform us over night

Mint master, mint master you gave us your mints
Kept our breath fresh and taught us your tricks

From Quinni's quintessential Quantum perms
To barber boy who makes his own terms

Did you realize you were training the elite?
A mixture of fidgety, loud, opinionated and sweet

From the large four corners to the middle line
Playing bingo with you was always a good time

Thanks to you your September class
Will surely succeed and kick ass

As we graduate and leave OTC behind
Just one thing to keep in mind

From Bambi, Elfin, Kales, Queen Latifah, Jesse, Abbs, Dregal, Ashhh, Datoka too
All nine of us girls will truly miss you.
