NAIL TECHNOLOGY: This course of study is a full 400 clock hour nail technology course. We follow guidelines set forth by the Vermont State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. We use the Milady Standard Nail Technology curriculum, which includes chapters on your professional image, bacteria and other infectious agents, sanitation and disinfection, safety in the salon, nail product chemistry simplified, anatomy and physiology, nail and its disorders, skin and its disorders, client consultation, manicuring, pedicuring, electric filing, aromatherapy, nail tips, nail wraps, acrylic nails, gels, the creative touch, salon business, and selling nail products and services.

We also offer a series of Career Development classes and schedule guest speakers. Our nail tech course covers units in both practical and theory application.
